Hotel Lenox is billed as “The Charm of Paris refined in Saint-Germain” and I would add very accommodating to the list as well. This quaint hotel is ideally situated on a quiet street on the edge of the 6th and 7th arrondissement in Paris. The reservations team were very helpful as I kept switching dates and adding people at the last-minute. They were very patient and emailed me immediately to confirm all changes. I like that!

Lenox lobby

Cozy and Inviting

When we arrived, it was to a warm and inviting living room/lobby area. I felt like I had just stepped into a commercial for Pottery Barn – very cosy and homelike. Reception was efficient and we were in our rooms in no time. We were informed we had free WiFi and free breakfast in the morning and could choose to have it in our rooms or in the dining area of the hotel. We chose the latter.

Jazz themed bar and breakfast room

Positive Vibes

Breakfast was in the bar/lounge area with a jazz motif. J’adore Parisian Jazz so it evoked a wonderfully positive vibe for me. We sampled the buffet and drank several cups of hot, delicious café au lait. The room was light and bright and one of my favorite breakfast rooms in Paris. I was amazed at how lovely it all was and would rank it very high amongst the three-star hotels I have stayed at before.

Single beds but a bit close together for friends traveling. Great for a couple.

I shared a room on the top floor with Gal Pal Elizabeth. It was a loft situation which I did not particularly care for, but Gal Pal Karen was in a lower floor and her room was simply delightful. Our loft room seemed dark and had a very narrow circular staircase up to the bathroom which was not convenient in the middle of the night. It did, however, have a great tub and shower combination which is greatly appreciated.

Great for friends or couples on a budget but don’t want to compromise on location

Overall I was pleasantly surprised and would recommend this hotel for sure to anyone traveling with friends or a couple on a more limited budget. It was clean, well-appointed and had charming public spaces. The staff was friendly and efficient and the location is awesome! You can walk to neat little shops in the 6th and 7th arrondissements and there are loads of dining options nearby. If a three-star in the heart of the Saint-Germain area is what you crave, try Hotel Lenox.
