Hotel Au Manoir – This four star hotel is located in the heart of the 6th on Blvd St. Germain des Pres across from the cafes that famous poets and writers frequented, making the location one of my favorites. It is a romantic hotel and very deserving of its solid reputation for great customer service and beautiful accommodations. The rooms are nicely decorated with lovely fabrics and great amenities such as a coffee/tea area, minibar and free WiFi in your room. Like most boutique Paris hotels, no two rooms are alike. These small luxury hotels were former apartment buildings with many space limitations, but this hotel boasts large rooms with beautiful modern bathrooms – a huge plus in my book.
Modern bathrooms are efficient and great looking
At Hotel Au Manoir, each morning, you will be served delicious coffee and a full breakfast including fresh juices, crusty French bread, three kinds of cheese, fruit, cereal and breakfast meats guaranteed to start your day off right. The hotel has rates which include breakfast. I highly recommend you exercise this option!
The front desk clerks are very helpful and totally bi-lingual. You will find them knowledgable and professional, but most of all pleasant. Paris can be known for aloof hoteliers, but not at the Au Manoir! All this great service, modern amenities and great location comes at reasonable rates.
Tip: Across the street is one of Paris’ most famous cafés, Café de Flore. It’s super people watching and a great spot for afternoon tea, insane hot chocolate and a glass of red wine.
