Yesterday was a difficult day between me and Wordpress, the program I use to compose these posts. They published my ode to Geneva before it was primed. So here’s round two of Getting My French on in Geneva, Switzerland which includes the highlights of a low-light day: It’s been a great first day of my Best of the Alps trip. First stop, Geneva. My French is rusty, but my photography is up to par. Enjoy these photos from today’s walkabout in this timeless city. Please ignore the rain, because I did and had a great time!

Green space is important to the people of Geneva. These works of art are part of the Urban Nature project which is bringing green space to concrete areas all around the city.

This floating pool sits right in the middle of the Rhone River. Complete with life guard stand, this recreation area adds a new dimension to the city.

Dear Laila,
Thanks for sharing the snippet of my post on your site. I love your comment that it reminded you to complain about the rain. So funny!
It’s stopped raining here in Chamonix and I cannot wait to share with you my adventure up the cable car to see Mont Blanc.
Thanks for taking the time to comment. I look forward to hearing from you more.
Cheers,
Priscilla
