Two Days in Dijon

Just a quick post to say it’s been a successful two days in Dijon.  Lots of shopping (list and photos to come later) and wine tasting today in Burgundy Grand Cru region.  I also took in a fantastic museum, Notre Dame church and the Cathedral in town.  Love that English is not widely spoken here, giving me a chance to speak the language and stretch my weak French skills.  Amazing wine, great food and very friendly people!

Back to Paris tomorrow for more shopping and relaxing.  Notre Dame for sure tomorrow to light candles for many who need them.  My thoughts and prayers are on my mind as much as the fun and frivolity of being in the City of Light.

Bon Soir!

Visited Dijon several years ago and stayed for a day or two and loved it. The food is great (particularly the patisseries) and it’s not expensive there at all.

      Hello Marlys,
I agree with you completely about Dijon. It was great food and not as expensive as Paris for sure. There was also some great shopping!
So wonderful to see you last night at the tweet up in Paris. I am sad to be leaving here tomorrow, but I can’t miss Paris unless I leave it, nest-ce pas?
Until next time, see you on Twitter and hopefully you will follow my blog all year long.
      Bisous,
      Priscilla

      Merci Susan!
I have lots of other nice things I got on sale, and as you know I have the perfect carry-on to fit them all in, thanks to you helping me to pick it out.
      Love,
