Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Travelers

It’s not too late to run out to your favorite travel or luggage specialty store to grab some goodies for your favorite traveler for Christmas or order from I recently purchased some cool gifts that I want to share with you:

The Wine Skin – for transporting wine bottles in your luggage. They are doubled sealed to ensure that they are leak proof.

Universal International Power Adapteer – converts any power outlet from other countries for use with US appliances. It includes a travel pouch.

Laundry Soap Sheets – For doing laundry on the road and great for boaters who want to wash bathing suits and quick-dry clothing. They dissolve in water, are biodegradable and 3-1-1 carry on compliant.

Shaving Sheets – How ingenious are these? Ladies, want to use shaving cream for your legs on the go? Men, think of how useful these would be for a long trip? You can fit the case in your pocket and there are more than enough for your entire journey. These sheets dissolve in water, are biodegradable and also 3-1-1 carry on compliant.

I’ve seen the wine skin but those shaving sheets seem to be ingenious! I will definitely need to look into those.

      Hi Debbie,
So sorry for the delay in responding…your comment was in my spam folder!
I am bringing them on my next trip so I will let you know if they live up to their potential. And, I can’t wait to find that special bottle of wine worthy of bringing home in the wine skin from Paris and Italy in January.
Thanks so much for reading my blog and taking the time to comment.

Great tips. I’ve used the wine skins, not to carry wine, but to transport olive oil safely back to the US. Can’t think of which would be worse, a broken bottle of wine or EVOO. Maggie

Laundry sheets and the hand soap has come in handy for me aplenty. Not just in Paris but in India, where there isn’t always soap in bathrooms. Great ideas!

      Hi Suzanne,
Boy do I wish I had thought about these before my trip to India too! They will come in handy for boating next summer for sure and I will bring the laundry sheets to both the BVI and Paris trips coming up.
So great to hear from you!
Thanks for reading and writing a comment.
