Official Transportation Sponsor of the Weekend In Paris 2013 Trip

I am pleased to announce that Snap Car Paris is the Official Transportation Sponsor for the January, 2013 Trip!

Always in search of the latest and greatest tools to make my travel in Paris easier, I have found a super cool way to get around Paris in the rain or when my feet can’t walk one more block and the Métro is too crowded. SnapCar promises to find me quickly and deliver me safely with just a click of a couple buttons. I have already downloaded the App onto my iPhone and am ready to hit the streets of Paris.

What is SnapCar? Here’s a quote from their website, “SnapCar is a mobile application with a network of chauffered vehicles that will pick you up on demand: in two clicks: With SnapCar, you don’t need to know phone numbers, wait on hold, or keep your arm out on the street in the rain. Click on SnapBook…and we’re there. With SnapCar, it’s so easy and pleasant to get around that you’ll wonder why it hasn’t always worked this way.”

Special features include:

  1. SnapPlan: you can book a SnapCar for later.
  2. SnapLive: you can choose a playlist that will be displayed when your SnapCar arrives.
  3. At any time you can share your route with your friends. They can see your location in real time.
  4. A baby seat available for children on board.

Many thanks to Snap Car Paris for the use of their car service during my luxury trip to Paris 2013. My opinions are my own; I will be “compensated, but never compromised on this trip.” I look forward to reviewing the service and writing about it upon my return.

Can you use the service to get to the airport from the city?

I have followed them on Twitter but all the tweets seem to be in French which is a shame as thought they would be targeting lots of visitors who would speak English.

I look forward to your review.

      Dear Dale,

Yes, you can use them to get to the airport from the city. It would be best to book that ride ahead of on your app. It’s super convenient and easy to use.

Ahh, I have not experienced the French problem on Twitter. One thing I can assure you is that they will answer you back in English so feel free to tweet them any time with any questions. Of course, their time frame is different from ours so keep that in mind.

Please keep reading and watch for my upcoming review.
