Is There Crime in Monaco? You bet…

by Weekend In Paris

There is little to no crime in Monaco. I am NOT surprised. First of all, the principality is tiny – it’s roughly the size of Central Park and full of twists and turns and one way streets. I doubt anyone could out run or drive the police. It is very well known that there are more police per capita than anywhere else in the world. According to Wikipedia, there are 515 police men and women for the 35,000 people who live in the area.

The sun shines 300+ days a year there so I think people are much happier and thus less likely to commit crimes. However, the sunshine leads to one crime that is taken very seriously by the guards at the Prince’s Palace. I am sure there are hundred’s of ways to get arrested in Monaco, but this one is definitely the funniest…

I was attacked there by a jealous female that threw a glass at my face after breaking it to use as a weapon. I was taken to Grace Kelly Hospital for facial surgery, she was arrested and has to go back to criminal court as well from them as civil from me … Do you have a idea what happens in this case? I’m in the process of hiring a attorney

Haha! Sounds funny, but I can understand the residents there. :)
