DSC_0774In the heart of the action off the Champs Elysées,  Hotel Le Fouquet's Paris has an energetic vibe that sets the tone for a refined and fun-filled experience in the City of Light. No matter if you are in town for business and crave a much-needed signature cocktail on the terrace in the cool and hip Galerie Joy bar, or if you are playing tourist and dream of an award-winning macaroon in a slice of French heaven at restaurant Le Diane, you will be well taken care of and feel special.

Notre dame nightThe lead up to Easter in Paris was phenomenal. I had a wonderful chocolate tour with Context Travel's docent Alisa Morov and I visited several churches in preparation for Holy Week and the finale of Easter Sunday. I am thankful to be back in the U.S. with Mr. Weekend In Paris and our two sons to celebrate together. What a blessing! After all, you are, "no bunny, until some bunny loves you." Please enjoy my Easter tribute to Paris...

DSC_0951My first day in Paris on assignment with Upscale Living Magazine is at Paris luxury Hotel Le Bristol. Its location is highly sought after, with its proximity to upmarket fashion houses and a close walk to both the Palais Royal and the famous Champs-Élysées. The 8th arrondissement has so much to offer visitors...

DSC_4371 At the heart of Hotel Napoleon lies a romantic Paris story. According to the history of the hotel, “a rich Russian entrepreneur, Alexander Pavlovich Kliaguine, met a young Parisian girl at a Literary fair in the late 1920’s, and fell head over heels in love.” It would be a terrific story if it ended there,

Close to Victor Hugo and the Arc de Triomphe, the peaceful estate made me feel like I was out in the country in the heart of the city.

hotel daniel sitting roomFirst impressions count! When we arrived at the Relais & Chateaux, Hotel Daniel Paris, the bellman opened the door that led us into an impeccably decorated combination lobby and living room reminiscent of a comfortable French country estate. Boutique luxury hotels are plentiful in Paris, but ones that make you feel at home are the best types. Hotel Daniel exceeded our expectations on all fronts, especially the cozy factor.
