When we go to Burgundy we take the train to Dijon from Paris or CdG Airport. We always stay overnight and head off for the wine route the next morning, renting a car at the train station. There is wonderful shoe shopping in Dijon and it’s a great jumping off point for your exploration of the wine region. I can dig into my notes and give you the names of a couple of hotels and restaurants that were memorable. The driving is easy, the wineries very welcoming. You’ll love it!

Can’t wait to have more info on Burgundy and Dijon! Lisa will be in “Shoe Heaven” so lookout fellow boot lovers – your supply will be limited after she blows into town!
I appreciate you digging into your files to give me hotel and restaurant rec’s. Do we definitely need a car or could we do things by taxi? Are there any specific wineries that are “must sees” or ones we want to avoid?
Thanks so much for all your help!!!
