    Hi Priscilla!

I am an avid follower of your site and really found your suggestions helpful when my husband and I visited Paris last summer. We enjoyed the experience so much we want to head back again! At this point we are likely flying to Paris for five days in late August and after exploring both Paris and some side trips (Versailles for sure this time) we want to head to one other area for about a week. This is where your suggestions would be really appreciated. We love our wine and new food experiences as well as some history and , ahem, some shopping. We had looked at heading to either Dijon, Bordeaux or Lyon. Any suggestions you could offer would be so appreciated. We have been to Provence, Avignon etc so we would like enjoy a different experience. What are your thoughts?
    Thanks so much,
    Diane

      Dear Diane,

How nice to hear from you and to learn that you are such a wonderful follower! Thank you so much for taking the time to write.

Bordeaux is super nice and the wine tasting options are endless, however, I also love Dijon for the shopping, culture and various wine options. I have written about both cities on the blog. If there is anything else you need to know that I have not yet covered, let me know. Of course, I am also partial to southern France and the areas of Menton, Monaco and Cannes so those would also be great options for you too.

      Have fun planning!

      Cheers,
      Priscilla
